One more steakhouse in a crowded niche

Jerry Zheng
Question: What do these places have in common?

Hana.
Koto.
Miyako.
Sake.
Hiro's.
Ichiban.
Sushi Tei.

Answer: They're all clustered in the Colonie-Latham-Guilderland area, roughly within a 10-minute drive of each other.

So, good luck to Samurai, yet another Japanese steakhouse now under development on Wolf Road in a former Burger King by entrepreneur Jerry Zheng who owns restaurants in Clifton Park (Sakura) and Niskayuna (China King).

The Times Union has a report, complete with photos -- and two different first names for Zheng --  of the project that Zheng expects to be complete by the fall. You can link to it here.
