Stadium ordering app about to go live

TROY — A new software item from a local startup named Imagineapp is scheduled to go live tomorrow and be officially introduced Thursday.

What does this have to do with the foodie scene? The app, called Snag, is meant for use at stadiums and entertainment venues to allow customers to order food and drink on their smartphones, then have it delivered to their seat or be available for pickup at an express line.

The Thursday unveiling will take place during media day Thursday at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium at Hudson Valley Community College, home of the minor league baseball Tri-City ValleyCats.

Imagineapp was created by RPI grads Daniel Cody and Peter Yeager. There is no fee for its use, and it can be downloaded from their site once the app becomes live.
