'Wing Wars' set for Saturday in Albany

ALBANY -- A reminder that "Wing Wars," a competition involving chicken wings from 13 local places, will be held at the Armory Sports & Convention Arena (which most people still insist on calling the Washington Avenue Armory) this Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Admission is $12, with tickets available at the door or online. Yuengling Brewery, co-sponsor of the event, wil have its brews available, and attendees will be able to vote for their favorite wings.

The Armory is located at 195 Washington Avenue, at Lark Street.
