Copake Winter's Market has a busy schedule

COPAKE -- Farmer's markets usually offer all sorts of things -- food, crafts, entertainment and so on. But, when a particular market is only held annually rather than weekly, a lot more tends to get crammed in.

Thus, the 2nd annual Copake Winter’s Market, set for 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 7, also will include -- in addition to the usual aforementioned offerings:

• A soup contest offering "fun" prizes
• A 6 p.m. potluck supper for which attendees can bring along a soup, covered dish, dessert or beverage
• A raffle to support the Copake Farmers Market musician's fund.
