ALBANY -- Anyone expecting the whole extended family for Thanksgiving Day dinner may think they're in for a crowd. However, I doubt they'll be able to top the scene that is expected at the Pearl Street Diner on Thursday.

An announcement from the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) informs us that "The Pearl Street Diner has a lot to be thankful for this year and would like to share it with you. Stop by from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a free Turkey Dinner with all of your Thanksgiving favorites."

One of my Thanksgiving favorites is free food, so this seems like the place to be.
