Newman's recalls one of its Own salad dressings

Newman’s Own Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of Newman’s Own Lite Honey Mustard Dressing because it contains undeclared milk.

People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume the dressing, according to the company. It said no other Newman’s Own products or flavors are impacted.

The affected products are sold in retail stores in New York, New England and elsewhere in the U.S. The packages are 16 fluid ounce bottles with a sell-by date of 16 OCT 13 and UPC code of 0 20662 00292 1.

Consumers with any affected product can return the product to retailer for a full refund.
