Once you're over the euphoria of Thanksgiving gorging/shopping/visiting and you're looking for something to do, keep the 8th annual Sartaoga County Restaurant Week in mind.
The promotional event organized by the Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau is scheduled to begin next Friday (November 30) and run through Thursday, December 6.
This year, more than 50 restaurants will participate, offering an appetizer or salad, a dinner entrée and a dessert from a set menu priced at $10, $20 or $30, plus tax and tip. Some restaurants also will offer lunch specials for $5 or $10, plus tax and tip.
There also is a lineup of lodging properties offering special rates for hotel rooms so diners can create an overnight package and experience more than one dining venue.
A list of special promotions going on during the week is available online.
