'12 (+) Beers of Christmas' at City Beer Hall

ALBANY -- " ... And a drenched coaster onnnnn the bar!"

The City Beer Hall is helping patrons get in the holiday spirts, or vice-versa, by offering a lineup of holiday and winter beers as part of an event called "The 12 Beers of Christmas," beginning at 6 p.m. next Thursday (December 13).

Of course, during the holidays people get generous, so the City Beer Hall actually will be offering more than a dozen beers in flights (four 5-ounce pours), half pints and pints. Plus, anyone dressed as Santa or one of his elves will receive a free half-print. If they go to all that trouble, it seems only right.

The City Beer Hall is located downtown at Lodge and Howard streets, where Ogden's restaurant long operated. Phone: 449-2337.
