Sportsmen's club plans January fish fry series

VICTORY MILLS -- Saratogans with a yen for fish dinners have a golden (fried) opportunity coming up in January.

The Fish Creek Rod & Gun Club will hold a four-part series of "fish fry Fridays" beginning this week and continuing on January 11, 18 and 25.

Club members will be offering, from 5 to 7 pm. each Friday, a menu of fried fish, fried clams and fried chicken tenders, each at $8.50, as well as clam chowder at $5 a quart.

Patrons will be able to eat at the club or avail themslves of takeout service by calling at to 695-3917. The dinners are available to the public.

The Fish Creek Rod & Gun Club is located on Route 32 south of this Saratoga County village.
