Check compliance with Niskayuna 'boil water' order

NISKAYUNA -- If you're planning on dining at any establishment using the Niskayuna water supply, don't be shy about asking whether they've boiled all their non-bottled water before using it for anything -- cooking, drinking, dish washing, etc.

That's because a townwide boil water order has been extended at least into Sunday because of a major watermain break that occurred late Thursday.

Two "clean" water tests (with 24 hours between tests) are needed before the order can be lifted.
