Delmonico's expanding to Clifton Park

CLIFTON PARK -- The Capital Region is on track for its second Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse.

The Utica-based restaurant group has purchased a building and parcel of land near Northway Exit 9 and targeted construction that could allow for a spring opening.

According to the Business Journal, Delmonico's paid $1.05 million for the property, located on Northside Drive off Route 146, and will spend an additional $850,000 on conversions.

Delmonico's already has locations in Colonie, Utica, Syracuse, Rochester and Orlando, FL.
