Food & Drink in New York's Greater Capital Region (and sometimes beyond)
Thank you so much! We are thrilled with this year's bottle. Each year the Albany Chefs' Food & Wine Festival creates an iconic bottle that will serve as the Festival Image throughout it’s 6 month marketing campaign. The bottles were introduced in 2012 with the typography bottle created by Phillip Armstrong. The 2013 & 2014 bottle was a mixed media piece painted in the Old Master style by local artist Tony Iaidiccio, digitized by Allison Munsell, and graphically enhanced by Danielle McMahon. The 2015 Festival Image was created by local graphic designer Robert Coker of New England Standard in Saratoga Springs. The bottle, called the “Blue Lady”, was inspired by Matisse. It has the vivid expressionistic and non-naturalistic use of color that were hallmarks of the Fauvist period. Just as the bottle was inspired by the Fauvist movement in the art world of 1905 Paris, so will the Gala dinner. Details of the Gala dinner to be announced in October.
