AVERILL PARK -- Uncle Marty's Adirondack Grill has scheduled a "Taste of New York" beer dinner, the first such event put together by Dustin Aipperspach, its new executive chef.
The event, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, costs $58 per person. Reservations may be made online or by calling 674-4080.
Amuse Bouche: Roasted chestnuts and Upstate Brewing's Common Sense Ale.
Appetizer: Grilled elk sausage with aged provolone cheese and whole grain mustard.
Salad: Hudson Valley duck breast, baby arugula, toasted almonds, blueberries, maple vinaigrette, with Brooklyn 1/2 Ale.
Risotto: Seared diver scallops, butternut squash risotto, toasted pumpkin seeds, Parmesan, with Southern Tier 2X IPA.
Entree: Apple-smoked, beer-braised hog wings, white bean cassoulet, with Chatham Porter.
Dessert: Pumpkin cheesecake and sea-salted caramel sauce, with Rushing Duck Dog's Bollocks.
