The Point introduces new fall food and drinks menus

ALBANY -- The Point Restaurant & Lounge has unveiled its fall food and drinks menu.

Lots of interesting fishes. You can see the cocktail list here, and all of the dishes here.

In perusing the offerings, I was particularly intrigued by the "snacks" category that can complement both the drinks and the larger dishes. Here's a sampling:

Toasted gnocchi with salt, pepper and rosemary asiago.


Blackened baby carrots with organic honey yogurt.
Roasted beets and butternut squash with sage and brown butter.
Brussels sprouts with Nueske bacon and Parmesan.
Meditteranean Medley of eggplant, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts and olives.


Buffalo chips with blue cheese fondue.


Roasted eggplant lollipops with  marinara and ricotta salata.
