Dinosaur Bar-B-Que group is expanding in New York State yet again, this time into the capital city.
But, rather than a full-fledged restaurant, the new venue it will open on Friday is a permanent concession stand in the Times Union Center.
The stand will offer a variety of signature Dinosaur items such as a pulled pork sandwich with pickles, a sliced barbecue brisket sandwich with pickled onion and jalapeño relish, Bar-B-Que Beans and A.K. Chili, according to a news release.
“Dinosaur Bar-B-Que offers winning combinations on its menu, but there is no better combo than a New York State restaurant featuring its food at the Times Union Center,” says Daniel P. McCoy, Albany County Executive. “We’re proud that the state’s capital will now be home to what has been called one of the best barbecue restaurants in the country at the premier sports and entertainment venue in the greater Capital Region.”
The Times Union Center is located downtown at 51 South Pearl Street. The Dinosaur Bar-B-Que group also has locations in Troy, Syracuse, Rochester, Brooklyn, Buffalo, Harlem, Baltimore, Chicago, Newark, and Stamford, CT.
