Saturday pub crawl for Spa preservation foundation

SARATOGA  SPRINGS -- An eight-stop itinerary is planned for the 5th annual "Pints for Preservation" pub crawl, a fundraiser for the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation.

The event will begin at 2:30 p.m. this Saturday with registration at Druthers, 381 Broadway. From there, participants will move on to Tin & Lint, Desperate Annie’s, Gaffney’s, Caroline Street Pub, Spa City Tap & Barrel, Saratoga City Tavern, and 7 Horse Pub.

Drink specials will be offered to crawlers at each stop. They also will be eligible for an architectural scavenger hunt, and raffle tickets will be available for prizes from local businesses. And, if that's not enough, there's an after party scheduled back at the Saratoga City Tavern at 7 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $35 per person, $60 per couple, or $120 for a group of four which is a $20 saving. Participants will receive an event T-shirt and souvenir pint glass. Reservations may be made online. Deadline is 3 p.m. Friday. To register and pick up a T-shirt and glass before the event, you can join the Foundation at Harvey’s Restaurant and Bar, 14 Phila Street, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday.
