The new distillery, founded by Matt Jager with partners Walt Kleemeier and Scott Luning, officially opened in late July at 5 Fairchild Square in Clifton Park.
On Saturday, visitors to the Exit 9 store, located at 9 Halfmoon Crossing Boulevard, will be able to sample Yankee Bourbon Whiskey, Yankee Rye Whiskey, and Yankee Colonial White Rum.
They're all young spirits. The bourbon is made from a grain mash of corn, rye, malted barley and smoked malt. The rye is made from rye, wheat, and malted wheat. The rum is made from a blend of Caribbean and domestic molasses. A Colonial Amber version of the rum will be available after aging for several months in wood.
