Crooked Lake restaurant reopening for a brief winter run

AVERILL PARK -- It's that time of year. Old Daley on Crooked Lake is about to reopen its Oak Room restaurant for a short run.

The historic Rensselaer County venue, which long was known as the Crooked Lake House and now is part of the Old Daley Catering company, usually is open only for special events. It now is taking dinner reservations for its reopening on Wednesday, January 20.

Dinner will be served Wednesday through Sunday through the end of March, beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday from 5 p.m. and Sunday from 4 p.m.
