Former Troy bar-restaurant may become a private club

The former Joey's Bar
TROY -- Joey's Bar may be no more, but its former location could be resuscitated as a private club.

The city Planning Commission's agenda for tonight's 6 p.m. meeting at City Hall includes a site plan review of a proposal to create a private membership club where the former bar and restaurant did business at 664 2nd Avenue and 118th Street in the Lansingburgh neighborhood. The applicant is listed as Chad LeCombe, a Troy resident.

This is the first time the project has been on the Planning Commission agenda. The hearing, which begins at 6 p.m. in City Hall, 433 River Street, Hedley Building, is open to the public.
