Here's the scoop on Trader Joe's latest food recall

This is getting to be a tradition -- yet another food recall by Trader Joe.

The chain's latest concerns its raw cashew chunks, which it has pulled from shelves in New York, 29 other states, and Washington, DC, because of possible salmonella contamination. The recalled lot has the bar code number 00505154 and the sales advisory "BEST BEFORE 07.17.2016TF4."

The company says no illnesses have been reported. Consumers who purchased the nuts are advised to return them to the store for a full refund.

Here are links to other Trader Joe recalls in the past few years, including one as recently as last week:

Trader Joe's Triple Ginger Brew
Trader Giotto's Butternut Squash Triangoli
Trader Joe's Cinnamon Almonds
Trader Joe's Butter Chicken With Basmati Rice
Trader Joe's Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter

In the Capital Region, Trader Joe's has a location at 79 Wolf Road, near Colonie Center.
