Central NY chain moving into Queensbury area

A Central New York convenience store chain is planning to add two locations in the Queensbury area.

FastTrac Cafe, which has 24-hour locations in such places as Rochester, Liverpool, Auburn, Amsterdam, Utica and Watertown, is a Stewart's-style chain specializing in subs, pizzas and breakfast items. Virtually all  locations offer drive-through service, and accepts online orders.

The company, whose corporate name is FasTrac Markets, last February spoke publicly about expanding into the Latham area at the intersection of Troy Schenectady Road (Route 7) and British American Boulevard as part of a major expansion plan. However, that has not come about.
