Manory's Restaurant becoming a student landlord

Manory's is the city's oldest restaurant.

The owners of a landmark downtown Troy restaurant will soon offer luxury off-campus student housing in the same building.

This spring, a three-floor, 15-unit complex called Ellsworth Student Suites will become available above the century-old Manory’s Restaurant on the corner of Congress and Fourth streets. The new project is locally owned and operated by Marchese Properties, the same entrepreneurial family that has operated Manory’s for the past 26 years. ...

The residential space, on the three upper floors of 126 Fourth St., has been unoccupied for the past quarter-century.
