Update: Contractors claim Rascals owes them big money

UPDATE (2/1/17): A variety of contractors who worked on building the Rascals Steakhouse that abruptly closed in Crossgates Mall barely six months after opening, claim they are owed about $880,000 in unpaid bills, according to The  Business Journal. No one from  the Rascals management group has yet to make public statements on the closing or on the financial claims.

Rascals opened to great fanfare on July 1 at Crossgates Mall. Now, according to a post today on timesunion.com, it may already have permanently closed.

The sprawling steakhouse and entertainment venue's hours have been sporadic during the past week, purportedly for "technical" reasons. You can get the details here.
