Sperry's to reopen its doors on February 1

Staff and supporters of Sperry's give the effort a thumbs-up
Sperry's, a Saratoga Springs restaurant in operation since 1932 but closed since Thanksgiving Day 2016 by a fire in a neighboring establishment, will reopen next week.

According to an announcement on its website and Facebook page, the restaurant, located at  30½ Caroline Street, will reopen on Wednesday, February 1. Reservations may be made by calling 584-9618.

Sperry's was one of several establishments at a corner of Caroline and Putnam streets forced to close when fire gutted the neighboring Mio Posto, a business that subsequently was demolished because of the extensive damage. The cocktail venue Hamlet & Ghost was the first of the affected businesses to reopen.
