No James Beard Awards semifinalists in region

The annual James Beard Awards semifinalists list is out. The finalists will be revealed on March 15, and winners of the prestigious awards will be announced on May 1.

Nothing for the Greater Capital Region, although there are several nominees from nearby areas and, of course, New York City. They are, by category:
