'Comfort Cuisine' Boys & Girls Club fete draws 24 entries

The Troy Boys & Girls Club is in the business of being a comfort space for kids in the community, so it's only logical that one of its premier fundraising efforts is the "Comfort Cuisine" tasting involving two dozen local restaurants.

This year's event, scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, will benefit the organization's summer programs. General admission tickets, priced at $25, are available online.

Joe's Tavern of Cohoes emerged as the winner in last year's competition, and is sche.duled to return. Other restaurants and food providers lined up to participate:

"Comfort Food" will  be held at Revolution Hall, 417 River Street in the Brown's Brewing block, Troy.
