Cheese Traveler's annual Friday Night Cookouts series begins

The Cheese Traveler in Albany will open its summer Friday Night Cookouts series this week.

The cheese and specialty food shop's farm-to-table focused menu changes weekly and features locally raised meat, sustainable seafood, and seasonal vegetables -- items such as organic beef and pork from Tilldale Farm; pastured lamb, goat and veal from Hessian Hill Farm, and seafood from Fin – Your Fishmonger.

No reservations are accepted for the cookouts, which run from 5 to 9 p.m. each Friday through September. Takeout is available.
