MacLeans put their Circus Café in Saratoga Springs up for sale

Want to be a Saratoga Springs restaurateuer For $475,000 you can purchase an established business on Broadway.

The 13-year-old Circus Café, located at 392 Broadway, has been put up or sale by owners Christel and Colin MacLean for that asking price. They recently sold off their Crown Grill, located next door, which has been transformed into the Braeburn Tavern. At one time, the MacLeans also owned the former Hattie’s Chicken Shack which they eventually sold to chef-owmer Jasper Alexander.

In recent years, the MacLeans' emphasis has been on their Saratoga Juice Bar, which sells cold-pressed juices from a Broadway storefront but also has a much bigger wholesale business that has found distribution through major supermarket chains including Price Chopper. They also  are working on its expansion to the West Coast.
